The Nigerian Police Lagos State command per Idowu has given a detailed account of what Caused the death of Mohbad.On the evening of September 10th, Mohbad, the renowned singer, was enlisted by the Cubana Chief Priest to endorse and promote General Bitters drink. After the show, as the crowd swarmed around their convoy, an attempt was made by Mohbad to clear the road. However, Mohbad’s friend, Prime Boy, intervened, fearing for Mohbad’s safety. A minor disagreement escalated, leading Mohbad to strike Prime Boy but missed and punched the window of their Prado Jeep, resulting in profuse bleeding.
The following day, on September 11th, despite persistent pleas from his wife, staff, and friends, Mohbad adamantly refused to seek medical attention for his injuries. His hands were not only bleeding profusely but also swollen, causing him unbearable pain. Sodic, another friend, strongly insisted that he should be taken to the hospital, but Mohbad remained steadfast. Instead, he attempted to reach his personal nurse, Nurse Funmi, who, unfortunately, was unavailable. In a bid to assist, Spending, also known as Sadic, suggested calling his own nurse, Auxiliary Nurse Feyisayo Ogedengbe, an option Mohbad consented to.
Feyisayo was contacted on Monday, September 11th, at 2:00 PM. Despite her availability, she promised to attend to Mohbad the following day, Tuesday, September 12th, 2023.

Upon reaching the first hospital in Corabell, it was shockingly discovered that Mohbad had already been pronounced dead. Dissatisfied with this diagnosis, Mohbad’s family and friends transferred his body to Perez Hospital for further examination. Dr. Timitokpe Maxson, the Medical Director of Conner Stone Hospital in Akute, Ogun State, where Feyisayo claimed to have received her training as an auxiliary nurse, has been contacted as to her qualifications and she was confirmed quack.
Five suspects were identified, apprehended, and detained in connection with the incident. Mrs. Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the auxiliary nurse, administered injections to Mohbad, leading to severe reactions and ultimately his demise. She confessed to administering Tetanus Toxoid, Paracetamol, intravenous, and Setrazone injections, which triggered vomiting, goosebumps, and convulsions. Her actions were not only professionally negligent but also in violation of standard medical protocols, as she was not qualified to administer such medications.
Sodik Aloba, known as Spending, Mohbad’s friend who arranged for Feyisayo to administer the injections, faced charges of conspiracy to commit murder. Primeboy, another friend who had a recent altercation with Mohbad, was accused of causing the injury that led to Mohbad’s death. Additionally, Sam Larry and Naira Marley were charged with bullying, as evidenced by viral videos circulating on social media platforms.
