During this meeting, he made a noteworthy statement, declaring that the former governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, not only serves as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) but also acts as his adviser.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu was quoted as saying, “The Honourable Minister, Wike, is not just the Minister of FCT, he is also my adviser and an admirer of mine. He has hit the ground running and he should be encouraged by the State.”
