John Owan-Enoh, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Super Eagles following their emphatic 6-0 victory over São Tomé and Principe on Sunday. This thrilling triumph marked the conclusion of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023 qualifying series, setting the stage for an exciting AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast in January 2024.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that the Super Eagles showcased exceptional football prowess, leaving their opponents in awe and securing a dominant victory to the delight of fans nationwide.
Sen. John Owan-Enoh commended the Super Eagles for their outstanding performance, acknowledging the immense pride they brought to the nation. He extended his congratulations on behalf of all Nigerians, emphasizing the importance of rewarding the unwavering support of the country’s football enthusiasts.
While speaking about the future, Sen. Owan-Enoh passionately urged the team to set their sights on winning the prestigious AFCON trophy in Ivory Coast next year. He stated, “We want the AFCON trophy to land in Nigeria, and all hands will be on deck to make this happen.”
