In a heartfelt display of solidarity and compassion, Hon Samuel Neji Abang, the Minority Leader of the Cross River State House of Assembly, braved a torrential downpour to stand by his friend, Supol Sampson Njar, in a time of grief. The occasion was the funeral of Late Ajuk Etta, the brother of Supol Sampson, in Ogbagante village, Akparabong ward, Ikom Local Government Area.

Hon Neji’s unwavering commitment to his constituents was evident as he arrived promptly at the burial ground, having traveled from Calabar to be there. Upon his arrival, he was met with an outpouring of support from the local community, with youths, men, and women of Ogbagante village eagerly awaiting his presence.

 

Supol Sampson Njar, the chief mourner, expressed profound gratitude for Hon Neji’s swift response and attendance.
