Federal University, Oye Ekiti: 10 Suspects Arrested in Connection to Student’s Death
In a shocking turn of events, the Ekiti State Police Command has apprehended 10 suspects linked to the tragic death of Modupe Deborah, a 200-level nursing student at the Federal University, Oye Ekiti. Deborah had been declared missing within the school premises on September 5, 2023.
The announcement was made by the command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Abutu Sunday, via their official social media handle. It was revealed that Deborah’s lifeless body was discovered in a shallow grave, approximately 30 meters behind the nursing Lecture Hall.
Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, CP Ogundare Dare, has ordered a thorough investigation into this harrowing incident, pledging that the perpetrators of this heinous crime will face the full force of the law.
