Counter Protesters Mobilized Against Real Protesters in Abuja

Aggrieved Nigerians  have Assembled today the 1st of August 2024 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium expressing there Dissatisfaction with the Federal Government with placards bearing #EndBadGovernment. The Faceless Protest of National Compatriots was met with a group of Counter Protesters Loaded in Government Buses to Counter those protesting against the Federal Government. With chants and Placard Young Nigerians are making demands to reduce the hardship in the land. The people are Asking for the reduction of price of patrol, food products, and increase in minimum wage to give Nigerians a better Life.

Earlier today the police CP had commanded that protesters should only be Allowed to protest insides the stadium and had ordered everyone to go inside the stadium.  A request which was objected to by the the protesters. When the First Strategy of forcing protesters to the stadium failed, a van of Counter Protesters Loaded in 16 Coastal Buses were deployed.

It is also instructive to Note that, before this day the government had applied to the court for an injunction retraining protesters from protesting at the proposed converging location at Eagle Square. A motion which was dully granted retraining any form of Protest at Eagle Square for Security reasons. Protesters had to converge the Entrance of the Moshood Abiola Stadium where their dissatisfaction were expressed.

As of the Time of Compiling  message the police and other Security agencies have already mounted road blocks around the area but there is no form of Violence recorded at the moment.
